SCRC Board of Directors

Meet the Team

The Coalition is 100% volunteer-led by people with lived experience in addiction and recovery.

  • Executive Director & Board President

After working in behavioral health for over 7 years, with over a decade of lived experience with substance use and justice involvement, I understood change was needed on a systemwide level. While working towards my MSW, I learned the power of advocacy and community. I partnered with the Washington Recovery Alliance and the local recovery community to form the Snohomish County Recovery Coalition.

I currently work as the Recovery Support Coordinator for Snohomish County Therapeutic Courts. I am a consultant/ally for the Washington State Therapeutic Court Alumni Association, an active member of the Multi-Agency Coordination Group for the Opioid Crisis, and the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Edmonds College Social and Human Service program.

Most importantly, I am a firm believer in the power of recovery.

  • Associate Director & Board VP

April is a dedicated recovery advocate and social service professional with six years of sobriety and a deep commitment to supporting individuals affected by addiction and homelessness. As the Co-Lead of the Snohomish County Recovery Coalition and Vice President of its board, she works to drive meaningful change in her community. She serves as a Community Outreach Manager at Ideal Options, a DPR trainer at WRA, and an overdose prevention specialist, leveraging both professional expertise and lived experience to connect people with life-saving resources.

With five years in social services, she actively engages in policy advocacy at all levels—mayoral, city, state, and federal—collaborating with Washington State legislators to advance recovery-focused initiatives. Passionate about making living amends through her work, she continues to be a strong voice for recovery, harm reduction, and systemic change.

  • Board Treasurer

Travis Gannon founded ODAT Recovery Communities 7 years ago to help serve community members who were affected by homelessness, substance use, and mental health concerns. His organization has grown to 7 homes, housing up to 85 people at a time, and over 1000 residents historically. It recently added ancillary services to focus on permanent supportive housing, employment services, and case management.

Travis was involved in forming the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences (WAQRR), which provides oversight and support for recovery residence operators, and holds a board seat with the Snohomish County Partnership to End Homelessness (PEH). Travis volunteers with Snohomish County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and in his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, exploring the outdoors, and rooting for local sports teams.

Meghan, a single mother of three, has turned adversity into purpose. Now 3+ years sober after a long battle with alcoholism, she shows her sons that perseverance and self-improvement can eclipse despair and hopelessness. While raising her boys alone, she completed her degree and built a successful career as a project manager in the tech industry—demonstrating to her boys that education and hard work can break the cycle of poverty.

Today, Meghan channels those hard-won lessons into service. She founded Restored, a recovery meeting for single moms, supports the Snohomish County Recovery Coalition, and sits on the board of 4word, a global network for Christian women in business. Her mission: to lift others as she climbs, offering hope, practical guidance, and an enduring example of resilience.
